Yakutat Halibut Fishing Report

The Sea Hunter has been up and running for a couple of weeks now. Late June provided some excellent Halibut fishing for our guests. We took a week off to install two new Yamaha motors, and got back to fishing late last week. Since then halibut fishing has slowed down, however we have been able to grind out some decent days with near limits of Halibut and Lingcod. Not easy fishing and it currently requires a lot of patience while our captains seek out pockets of fish here and there.
